INTERWEBS BRING PAIN
You know, it's quite curious how, with a movie that's 23 years old, David Lynch completely altered my perception of Roy Orbison's classic 'In Dreams'.
  • That icon reminded me of an amusing bit at Dragoncon this year where Malcolm McDowell was talking about the eye hardware scene. Apparently the doctor they had for it in the scene was actually a doctor, and was one of a few in the country that knew how to use that device. They numbed Malcolm's eyes for it, and then tested it by jabbing his eye with a finger. Owie. He actually managed to get some scratches on his eye over the course of shooting, as well as some other eye injuries. All cleared eventually, but Owie! Talk about suffering for art.
    • Gah!!! Poor Malcolm!
Terrific choice of scenes in which to suffer for one's art, though.
  • Or RO's "crying"
