count only sunny hours
So when it rolls around:
Michael Faraday, John Houseman, Shaka Zulu, Erich von Stroheim, Nick Cave, Joan Jett, Anne of Cleves, Tai Babilonia, Billie Piper, Lord Nicholas Windsor's son Albert Louis Philip Edward Windsor, Princess Märtha Louise of Norway, and Rupert Penry-Jones all share my birthday.

Fuck, I share a birthday with Billie Piper. Oh god, I'm a chav(by-association), aren't I.

In unrelated news, bettyscout is older and merits celebration on that front. Also, I subjected people at a karaoke bar to my imitation of David Bowie on a karaoke machine's really substandard instrumentation of 'Ziggy Stardust', & later followed up with my attempt to mimic Chet Baker's 'My Funny Valentine'.

  • Chavtastic!
  • At least you don't have tweens going squeeee you've got the same birthday as Harry Potter zmg!!!1111

I had it first, Potter! I had it first.
    • I discovered that I don't actually share a birthday with the first woman to support herself by writing in English (Aphra Behn), sadly.
  • The best part of that karaoke machine was the Casio sound effects. I swear, you haven't lived until you've heard a Guns n' Roses guitar solo translated into a Casio 'synthesizer'. ;)
    • Hahah yeah. It was...

...indescribable, that machine. The instrumentation on My Funny Valentine was wonky enough I was mostly thinking 'what the hell is this shit?' while I was singing.
  • Ziggy and My Funny Valentine in the same eveing sounds fascinating.

(I have the same birthday as Anne Rice. Despite my usual We-Louisianians-should-stick-together feelings, Anna of Cleves would be so much more awesome.)
    • Well, Ziggy was the 'we want you to sing this' choice: I chose Funny Valentine because I know I do a nice job with it.
We also had Rage Against the Machine on this jukebox, fer cry ay. Very eclectic joint.
