creepy yes
I HAD A REACTION TO SEEING THE FINAL STAR WARS MOVIE EVER!

IT WAS ALL REACTIONLIKE!

MAYBE IT WAS A TERRIBLE REACTION!

MAYBE IT WAS A WONDERFUL REACTION!

BUT I'M NOT GOING TO F___ING TELL YOU!

AHAHAHAHAHAAHAH!!!!

UPDATE:
people have complained that I said nothing about the film. Please don't blame me that you clicked on the clicky and got no spoilers.

The perfectest perfect moment of perfect utter irony ever filmed is in this movie.

OBI-WAN KENOBI:
I can't watch any more of this.
(Another 3 reels of film are then screened for the audience.)
  • I have to take back everything bad I've ever said about George Lucas. The revelation about who really became Darth Vader has to be the most amazing twist I've ever seen in a movie.
  • OMFGWTFBBQ, how DARE u tell me u had a REACTION?!?!one1one? Now I know that there was something 2 react 2 in teh movee! AAAA u ruind it 4 mee.
  • My God, am I ever sick to death of that movie. I've developed a twitch when it comes up in conversation.
    • Repeat after me:

      Last.
      One.
      EVER.
    • Re: Repeat after me:

and I thought getting the original trilogy, pre-SE, on DVD was kewl.

      But I can't watch them.

Same thing with most of my Trek DVDs and vids.

It's been too much in the public eye, and what there has been of both series (aside from the Clone Wars series, which I haven't seen) hasn't been good at all.

Honestly I'm just relieved they're both done now.

      [/vent]
    • Re: Repeat after me:

      Uh-huh.

I'm of an age, my fine lad, to remember when there was gonna only be one to begin with. So frankly, I won't be surprised to turn on the news in 20 years and see film queues filled guys in Jedi robes wheeling oxygen tanks behind them.
      • Re: Repeat after me:

I was only 8 when it came out and therefore don't remember it as being one, but I do remember it as being the middle three of a planned nine...
      • Re: Repeat after me:

Was the planned 9 from outerspace. Haha I made a punny! Well is it a pun when yes indeedy it was from outerspace? Hmmmm...
I heard good stuff and love global exerience so I say go ahead and go loopy over Star Wars it's better than a Tsunami.
      • Re: Repeat after me:

I was born the year it came out.

        I want more Star Wars.

        Damnit.

        Prettyprettyspaceshipszoomwhee!

Seriously, though, this makes me want to play a Knights of the Old Republic OTT game. >.
      • Re: Repeat after me:

        I remember that too.
    • Re: Repeat after me:

Except for Lucas announcing about a month ago that he's planning not one but TWO spin-off TV series, yes. The horror. The horror.
  • Thank goodness for an original reaction. I'm sick of watching everyone on my friends list weigh in on a film I'm not going to see for another couple of days and feel like I've already heard every possible reaction to anyway.
    • It did not suck as much as 1 or 2.
      It did suck.
I am scared to ever watch the original trilogy again, after the fiasco that is the current one. What if I learn that I only liked them because they provided me with a fertile ground for my imagination?
    • See, you just totally told me what you thought of it, in defiance both of your post and my reaction. Hypocrite!
    • Dunno if I should react either. But I feel the same. Lucas screwed it up as much as plot constraints (Jedi's fall Vader's rise) and the talent of the special effects teams would allow. So wooden acting and miserable storytelling was everywhere apparent. But it was better and 1 & 2.

That said, I get the impression that Lucas didn't get his hands on the animated Star Wars: Clone Wars. Thus, it wound up being very cool. The last five episodes are at cartoonnetwork.com and I believe the rest is on DVD.
