Camper Van Beethoven and a Very Intriguing opening act.

The opening act for CVB was a band named 'Enorchestra', which I figured 'okay, whatever'. 1muse pointed out that it was not spelled that way but was in fact ENOrchestra.
They did a full-album cover of 'Taking Tiger Mountain (by Strategy)' which was, frankly, the best fucking Eno cover I've ever heard- and outright brilliant. Imagine 10,000 Maniacs, in their heyday, covering Taking Tiger Mountain.
Now add in some additional cleverness.

It was just awesome.
CVB were, of course, good. Oh, and Victor- the bassist? The guy I'd been scamming on since I was 16?
Came out of the closet.
'God, the way the nation is... 11 states outlawed me.'
'Oh shut up, Victor, the fact it's illegal just makes it more fun.'
'Well yeah, but either way it makes it easier to figure out a tour schedule.'

Oh fun.

And they were- as is only to be expected- great fun in concert. These boys really click together so damn well.
