scared of you.
Who the fuck NEEDS Tor. Who the fuck NEEDS Stephen King.
There is horror, nearly anywhere that you might look.
  • ....

    Rotten.com or uglydress.com, I could see coming.

    But... but... AIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Rotten I can handle. I can dodge Paris Hilton thanks to being a recluse.

...but, Goddess of good taste forgive me, somebody made me *wear* that teal-green camaro dress. And it was flat-chested and backless, completely backless, with strands of fake pearls across the back.

It's true. djfanboy and roadknight both saw it, although I suspect at least one of them blocked out the horrible memory.
  • Tor and horror? I don't get the connection. :) Have they put out a horror novel any time in the last five...ten years?

Or were you talking about Another Tor?
    • No, I was talking about Tor.

Yes, Tor have published what I'd qualify as outright horror.
Kidding aside, they printed Alan Nayes' 'The Unnatural' in 2003, which was horror in the same vein as Silence of the Lambs was.
Did you know that they publish Datlow's solo anthologies, as well? And they seem to be the publishers for Brian Lumley's Necroscope series, which is in print through them.

And then for true horror's sake: these fuckers print Orson Scott Card.
  • Ha! The Ugly Dress site is brilliant!
