fin9901: can you explain these people? I don't lump you in with them: you reason. I just don't understand how these people genuinely fail to grasp even the faintest semblance of reason.
I'm going to assume that there's a bit of the whole 'enhance everything by 150% because I am invisible on teh Intarweb' going on here, but...
do these people actually live on the same planet as me?
  • that's a hilarious thread. i love the internet: a hundred sketchy conservatives fail (somewhat understandably, really) the essence of skinny puppy--and then there's the one guy who's been to a show, THREW FLOWERS AT OGRE, and complains about pit violence.

you just can't make that shit up.

  • I feel so soiled now.

But god help those turds if they try to protest a Skinny Puppy show. That's all I have to say.
  • I could only get through the first page before my head started to explode. Fortunately, closing the window defused the situation. Maybe I missed the best ones but this guy just makes me wonder what's wrong with people...

My suggestion to anyone goin to one of these concerts is to bring a double-bladed knife bout 6 inches long and USE it when assholes start assaulting them in that manner.

Since the bouncers didnt do anything Do it yourself.

as for the band, I was thinking of rotten fruit to thrtow at them, but seein how that is gonna be too mild, toss some shurikens their way, maybe they'll love it?

His sig? A huge graphic proclaiming HE SHALL BE CALLED... JESUS CHRIST.

I can see him now. 'Hmmm. Violence in a mosh pit. What would Jesus do? I know, bring a knife and stab them all! And then throw sharp pointy things at the performers! Hallelujah, praise the Lord!'

It's a good thing I'm not in power.

The original post is such bullshit, not to mention many of the posts below it.

FYI, there is some information <a href="http://www.monmouth.com/~sgoldberg/faqraw.txt">here</a> on how Skinny Puppy relates to the (defunct) <a href="http://www.religioustolerance.org/process.htm>Church of the Process of Final Judgement</a>. In brief, saying that they have "connections to" that group would be like saying Joy Division has "connections to" Nazis on account of name choices. Skinny Puppy's Process Internet project was interesting, I popped in on it now and then. Back in the early 90's they had an FTP site and a list that was for a collaborative music project. I hadn't looked at it more recently, <a href="http://www.process.org">process.org</a> now looks like it's morphed into some sort of production company/group. Their new album is also called The Process.

Given that Skinny Puppy predates both Marilyn Manson and Guns 'N Roses, I had to find the post that said that it looked like Ogre was somehow stealing/combinging their schticks the most amusing one of all... This really looks like the seedier side of the <a href="http://www.angelfire.com/me2/wermhq/ONTHEPMRC.html">PMRC</a> to me. Except now, the threat is anyone who is critical of the U.S.

  • There's an old saying I've heard that comes to mind:

    "Where there's light, there's bugs."
