Browsing the web a bit while eating lunch and just spat apple pie out laughing at this one:

‘‘The American president must speak clearly and mean what he says," Bush said Tuesday night (from salon.com).

Good to see Bush campaigning for Kerry, given that he's meant four different things by the statement 'There are weapons of mass destruction in Iraq' and who's so clearly-spoken as to point out that "Fool me once... shame on. Shame on you... You fool me, you can't get fooled again."
Christ on a crutch.
  • I am fairly certain that "Verboxity leads to unclear, inarticulate things" is a quotation of Dan Quayle. I remember during and shortly after the election a number of Quayles verbal mishpas were attributed to G W Bush.

Be very careful to be accurate about his sort of thing. It's not like Bush needs any help from Dan Quayle to sound like an idiot. Fact checking is not for idiots. Wee.
    • You're correct. I edited the post to a quote that sounded even more incoherent and which I know comes from the Shrub.
